Group’s growth

(factory capacity in quintals)

History

\r\n

Today, the company ENOAGRICOLA S.R.L. operates a plant that transforms table grapes into musts for juice, with a capacity of approximately 70,000 quintals.

\r\n

Our company was born out of an idea of Domenico Orlando, a small fruit and vegetable producer and merchant who decided to make wine from table grapes in 1962 following a disastrous few years for grape production.

\r\n

This initially involved a small factory with a capacity of around 950 quintals. Domenico could rely solely on the help of his parents, his tireless wife Vittoria and a few co-workers.

However, thanks to all of their dedication and hard work, the company grew year after year: in 1993, the factory reached a capacity of 40,000 quintals and Domenico, who by then was over sixty years old, decided to hand the business over to his three sons Giovanni, Vito Angelo and Vincenzo.

\r\n

When a European Council Regulation imposed a ban on making wine using table grapes, Domenico’s sons decided to turn the grapes into preserved must for fruit juice, whilst also continuing to devote themselves to producing the grapes.

Roles

\r\n

In 1993, our company was entrusted to Domenico Orlando’s three sons who, having managed a business that resold pesticides, fertilisers and agricultural products, decided to focus entirely on producing table grapes and preserved must for juice.

\r\n

Ever since, Giovanni, Vito and Vincenzo have run the factory with pride and dedication. History is destined to be repeated with the grandchildren Domenico, Giuseppe, Domingo and Vittoriana, who already fulfil roles within the company structure with the same commitment as their parents.
